Overview

3 fantastic days to discover our past!

On this amazing journey through the Berguedà, you’ll go from seeing dinosaur tracks over 65 million years old to experience the daily life in a coal mine from the inside. The villages of Vallcebre, Cercs and Fígols will show you awsome landscapes, a well protected heritage, and lots of people delighted to share their stories!

Arrival in Vallcebre and lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit to the Dinosaurs Interpretation Centre in Fumanya. This centre submerges you into history, and it has privileged views upon the dinosaur tracks which, depending on the time of the day and the impact of the solar light, can be very clearly appreciated.
After the visit, we'll head for the lodging, where we'll have dinner.

Breakfast at the lodging.
Hiking or cycling trail, you may choose among the available options. We'll provide with everything you need to go on the route.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Cercs.
In the afternoon, visit to the Mines of Cercs Museum, which will take us back a 150 years and allow us to experience the daily life of the miners who, since the 20th century, lived in the colony of Sant Corneli, in Cercs. We'll be allowed to get on a cart, which will take us 450 metres into the mine, and we'll discover life in the mine and the colony as well.
Return, dinner, and accomodation.
