Overview

The Berguedà region lays in the north of the province of Barcelona, where the plain gives way to the Pyrenean foothills when it meets the Queralt, Picancel and Catllaràs mountain chains.

The region’s backbone is the Llobregat river, which traverses it from north to south while gathering the waters of many affluents. Along the Llobregat basin, the Berguedà reveals itself as a little world of great scenic, historical and human interest.

Rústic Vilella is a Rural Tourism Country House located in the former Cal Pere Vilella house, in the Gisclareny municipality (the smallest town of Catalunya, regarding the number of inhabitants), in Alt Berguedà, and inside the borders of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. The country house is quite isolated from the town centre, at an altitude of 1.425 m. It is nearby the Sant Miquel de Turbians chapel and is always escorted by the magical Pedraforca.

The country house has five rooms with bathroom and heating system. It offers splendid views, dining area, a leisure room with fireplace, television, board games and bar service, a multi-purpose room, and a heated pool in a calm and cosy place, as well as extensive green areas with outdoor tables.

The cuisine you'll enjoy in Rústic Vilella is based on traditional local dishes and home-made food, and most of the ingredients are farmed or gathered in the region.
